Most parties only provide hard copies of their manifesto (which you have to pay for) or online copies in formats such as PDF or images which require extra software downloads and are accessible to many people with disabilities.

This website is made using html. This makes it easier to read with screen readers (used by blind and partially sighted people to browse the web), lets people increase the size of the text and lets search engines index it more easily.

All political parties publish manifestos, but how many of us outside the media actually read them or have an opportunityto comment on them?

This website lets you add your comments to each paragraph of thier manifestos, so you can tell them what you think of their plans

Its was set up by volunteers because they thought it was a good idea

It is the latest thing, we are in beta and frankly will be in perpetuity. Hell the election is in a short while and then all this will be history.
